Brainstorm: Turn to page 542 in Contemporary Economics. Read the "In the News" section. Brainstorm a list of services for  the "Think About It" question and write them down in your notebook.

HOMEWORK:  (Due Oct 14th/15th) Answer the "Checkpoint" questions in Ch. 18 sections one and two. These are on pages 544, 546, 547, 551, and 553. Be sure you use all the Key Terms on pages 543 and 549. ALSO keep in mind the video competition theme "Markets Promote Peace" and write at least two ideas about how the ideas in these sections might influence this idea.

HOMEWORK: (Due Oct 16th/17th) Answer study guide questions for "Who's 'Protected' by Tariffs" from EIOL and be ready for a seminar. Be Ready for Seminar. Be sure you understand this in terms of the "Broken Window Fallacy", ie. Who is the forgotten man etc.
